Quotation mark. My hot water heater heater was leaking from the pressure valve and was old. So we needed to replace it. My hubby and I have a Lowes credit card so we decided to use them and see about install which contracts ARS. Pro's: The were on time, gave a price reduction of 10% and delivered their promise to replace the same day. They brought in all parts and equipment. It includes a 1 year labor warranty and they hauled off my old tank. Cons: Too pricey at $2k when the heater and parts are around $650. If I didn't have a 80 gallon that was being pulled I'd have done the work myself but I knew it was not going to be an easy removal for me as I can't lift more than 75lbs. I was shocked the installer was alone and felt obligated to help. I mainly had to assist with breaker cuts and to shine a flashlight in the room since power was cut. But thank God I did help! When emptying the tank, the hose started leaking profusely and water was now running all over my floors. The installer was not in the home at this time. I acted quickly and grabbed a small 5qt Tupperware container to collect the water coming from the valve. Had I not been there, it would have cause major problems. I was dumping water collected into a bucket every minute and it was tedious work. Once he returned, I mentioned the leak and what I had done to help and so he continued to work on installing the shut off valves to the water coming in. I filled up a 5 gallon bucket which could have been all over my floors! I tired of dumping the container and my boss called wanting to know why I wasn't working so I ended up adjusting the hose to stop this from continuing. I felt bad for touching the equipment but had to get back to work. The Installer struggled to get the old heater up and out to his van. He even commented the tires went flat due to the weight of the tank and you could tell he was in pain straining to do the work. After install I noticed the drip pan was too small and the pressure valve hose was located on the outside of the pan. If it leaks, it will not be collected properly. The drain going out of the house was not installed and it was recommended to be capped off since the installer didn't want to drill into our floors as they are in need of repair/replacement and it's not likely to leak as it's new. My spouse and I suggested running it through the exterior wall which is next to the heater. In the end we are now going to have to install once we replace our floors. Honestly for what I paid, I feel the value didn't justify the cost. I'm regretting my decision to not do the work myself. At the end of the day, I am going to need to replace and buy a bigger pan and run the drain lines out of the home. I signed off on the work order so it is what it is at this point.

Quotation mark. Update: Antonio was the 4th technician to come out to address the high humidity in my home on 9/19/23. He took the time to explain how my variable speed system works. He added coolant & adjusted the pressure on the a/c side. Hopefully this will make a significant difference. I will update in 7-10 days. Previous review: ARS has been unable to lower the humidity in my house (70%+). They installed a new Rheem HVAC system 18 months ago. This summer started having high humidity in the house. Three technicians have been out to problem solve in the last 6 weeks. The most recent tech believes the high humidity is due to 4-5 partial sections of insulation hanging under my house. Insulation will be fixed this weekend. Note: First tech went under the house, never mentioned the insulation concern & said the crawl space was not humid. Just shaking my head. New expensive system & no reduction in power bill since installing in June 2021. I went with the lowest bid on the HVAC & air duct replacement. Make sure the service dept is exceptional when deciding on a new system.
